Pheffer Amato Welcomes New Legislative Director in 2022
South Queens, NY – Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) announced the hiring of Gregory Slade to serve as Legislative Director. Gregory, a native of New York, has previous work experience in the New York State Assembly and is credited with being the driving force behind several major and impactful pieces of legislation that have been signed into law.
“I am so excited to bring Gregory on to our team,” Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato said. “His experience and passion for public service, combined with his intense and deep commitment to legislation and the community will make him not only a major asset, but a friend to everyone in the 23rd Assembly District,” the Assemblywoman continued.
“It is an outstanding honor and a privilege to join the Assemblywoman and this team,” said Gregory Slade. “We have some amazing work in store and I look forward to delivering for the people of this district, for Queens and our great State. I am ready to further develop and enact the Assemblywoman’s remarkable legislative agenda, all while making a real lasting impact,” Gregory remarked.
Gregory is one of two new staffers added to Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato’s team. Prior to his work in the state legislature he lived in the United Kingdom working and earning his master’s degree.
