Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato Honors Eagle Scout Troop 139
South Queens, NY – New York State Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) along with Commissioner of Jurors and Queens County Clerk Audrey I. Pheffer, District Leader Frank Galluscio and retired Judge Augie Agate gathered with family and friends of Troop 139 to award 6 young men on ascending to the rank of Eagle Scout.
The ceremony, which occurred at St. Helen's Catholic Academy, includes the lighting of the candles, the reciting of the Boy Scout and Eagle Scout Oath, along with each scout speaking about their personal project. The 6 scouts organized various projects that benefited the community. The scouts also addressed the crowd and gave a pin to their mentors. Upon the completion of the speeches, each scout was elevated to the rank of Eagle Scout. Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato, along with Queens County Clerk Audrey I. Pheffer, and District Leader Frank Galluscio presented personalized citations to honor the newly minted Eagle Scouts.
