“Public transit makes New York thrive and drives New Yorkers forward. Public buses continue to operate, through rain, snow, sunshine, and pandemics, making sure that all New Yorkers arrive safely when and where they need to be. Public transit employees deserve recognition for their tireless efforts on behalf of all New Yorkers, and we thank Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato for doing that.” Luis Alazate, President, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1056.
