Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato Denounces Antisemitic Terrorist Attack in Manchester, England

South Queens, NY New York State Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato released the following statement in response to the heinous terrorist attack on a synagogue in Manchester, England that resulted in the murder of innocent congregants on Yom Kippur:

“Yesterday, as Jewish people around the world celebrated the holiest day of our faith on Yom Kippur, a terrorist attacked and murdered parishioners at a synagogue in Manchester, England. I am horrified and angered by this deliberate act of violence - and fully condemn this attack! With the unprecedented rise in antisemitism, now is the time for action to be taken to protect and defend Jewish communities around the world. In New York we must continue to invest in security measures - while also stomping out antisemitic rhetoric and any attempt to normalize this behavior.

May the memories of Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz forever be a blessing.”
