This past Thursday, March 9th, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Rockaway) was invited to speak at the Neponsit Adult Day Care Center. She spoke on the subject of Women’s History Month, telling the story of how she came to be a Member of the NYS Assembly and answering questions from staff and residents.

“This is an incredible facility that does such fine work in meeting an urgent need in our community,” said Pheffer Amato. “The adult care community is seriously under-served everywhere. The warmth, guidance and resources provided by the Center are so crucial in that context. My heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents for having me out. I look forward to working together to improve quality of life for our neighbors with special needs.”
