Pheffer Amato Announces Opening of Howard Beach Office
Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Howard Beach) announced today that she’ll be opening a second District Office at 162-38 Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach, Queens, to better serve her constituents in Howard Beach, Ozone Park, Lindenwood, and Hamilton Beach. Staff will be regularly rotated to the new office from her Legislative Office in Albany and her other District Office, which is located in her hometown of Rockaway Beach, to help locals with meetings, issues and navigating the City and State bureaucracies.
“I’m excited to be closer now to my constituents north of Jamaica Bay,” said Pheffer Amato. “We appreciate Carl Heastie and the Assembly leadership for understanding that the toll on the Cross Bay Bridge makes a second office necessary for equitable representation. We’re looking forward to the day when that toll will disappear, and we’ll keep pushing. But in the meantime, we want to be as close as possible to all parts of the district.
“So many great things happen North of the Bay,” Pheffer Amato continued, “and this way we can join in, be accessible to constituents, and to really be a part of the community. We appreciate Howard Beach’s hospitality, and we look forward to being able to provide a great level of service to folks in the northern part of the district!”
The opening will be attended by local elected officials, community leaders and constituents. A media advisory will be sent with further information about the exact date and time of the opening.
