Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) will be hosting a “know your rights” Access-A-Ride informational session. The session will be held on January 19th, 2018 at 1:00 PM within JASA Brookdale Village located at 155 Beach 19th Street Far Rockaway, Queens and will focus on language access for Russian Speakers and general ‘know your rights’ for Access-A-Ride users.

“Here in southern Queens and Rockaway we have severely limited access to transportation and one of the largest senior populations in the entire city,” Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato said. “Many of our seniors and persons with disabilities depend on this program, but sometimes there is confusion or lack of information. That’s why knowing your rights, and having clear information is key to providing every person with the tools they need to lead productive, independent lives. I am excited to host these seminars and provide our community with better information for what they deserve.”
