Pheffer Amato Announces Mobile Office Hours Across 23rd A.D.
Rockaway Beach, Queens- Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Rockaway Beach) today announced her Mobile Office hours throughout the 23rd Assembly District, to be held from August to October, allowing constituents to meet her and Team Stacey directly, have questions answered and receive help dealing with quality-of-life issues. (Local hours were announced last week by direct mail to constituents.) The tour will include stops at local businesses, senior centers, and libraries in an effort to provide families with the opportunity to meet with Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato and discuss concerns.
“These tours are a really great way to keep government more accessible and accountable to people, and to let people see us around their work schedule,” Pheffer Amato said. “From Ozone Park to Far Rockaway to Breezy Point, we’ve aimed to cover as broad a swath of the district as possible. I’ll be bringing my staff out to help constituents with anything they might need assistance or information on, from legislation in Albany, or concerns here in the District. This is the fun part for me – meeting folks face to face to help out where I can!”
Pheffer Amato and her team will set up tables at different locations to provide help dealing with government agencies and addressing quality-of-life concerns. The Assemblywoman will also have literature on hand to provide information on topics ranging from city parking regulations and crime prevention tips to voter registration. Each location will serve as a full-fledged “office.” The tour will include the following stops:
