Broad Channel, Queens – On Thursday, January 24^th from 7:00 pm – 9:00pm Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D- South Queens) will host a Flood Insurance Counseling Event in conjunction with the Broad Channel Civic Association. The event will take place at The VFW Hall (713 Shad Creek Road, Broad Channel, Queens). The event will cover certain topics such as flood risk and insurance rates.

“As we have learned, New York’s flood risk is on the rise and now more than ever we must take certain steps to make sure our future is more secured,” said Pheffer Amato. “At this counseling event, participants will have the chance to speak one-on-one with an insurance counselor to help gain more knowledge. This is an important event and I hope to see many of you there.”
