South Queens, New York – Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) this past week honored six women at her 2^nd Annual 2019 Women of Distinction (WOD) event. The WOD award was created to recognize the incredible women who are going above and beyond to strengthen Queens and create a brighter future for all. Pheffer Amato announced in early March the opening of nominations for the WOD award and received over 30 nominations. Honorees included: Cathy Harrison, Tawana Green, Bridget Klapinski, Kami-Leigh Agard, Tina Roseman, and Phoebe Grant Robinson.

“These powerful women of South Queens not only work every single day to change our community, but are changing the world!
