Albany, New York- Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) hosted the students and faculty of the St. Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Academy in Albany this past week during Legislative Session. The group toured the Capitol for the first time, visited the NYS Museum, and was introduced in the Senate and Assembly chambers. “I am so impressed by the motivation, and caring of these amazing young people and could not be prouder to represent them in Albany,” noted Pheffer Amato. Senator Joseph P. Addabbo also met with the group, helped to facilitate a tour, and spoke to the group in the Senate Chambers.
