South Queens, New York- Over the past month, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Rockaway) and her office have distributed over 500 New York State Assembly Community Service Awards to schools all across the 23rd Assembly District for their 2019 graduating class.

“The brightness of our students and the dedication of our teachers here in South Queens are both clear to see and clearly interrelated. I was so proud to speak at multiple graduation ceremonies this past week and present awards to two worthy students for their leadership and devotion to giving back,” Pheffer Amato said. “I wish all students of the “Class of 2019” in schools throughout my district much future success and a very happy summer!”
