Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) announced that she will be hosting a Homeowners and Renters Benefit Session with the NYC Department of Finance (DOF). The virtual event will address DOF benefit program options for home, condo, and co-op owners, DOF benefit programs for renters, COVID-related service changes, and how to submit questions to DOF online.

“Filing taxes can be difficult and confusing, so I am glad to bring this event to my community and provide this resource to our constituents,” Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato said. “At this webinar, you can speak directly with DOF representatives about property tax questions and find out what benefits your family qualifies for. Even though the DOF is unable to come into our community physically this year, they are still here to help you understand your taxes.”
