Pheffer Amato Receives 100% Rating from New York League of Conservation Voters

South Queens, NY Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) announced today that she has received a 100% on the 2021 New York League of Conservation Voters (NYLCV) scorecard. Released annually, the New York League of Conservation Voters’ mission is to fight climate change through political action and hold legislators accountable for environmental legislation. The bills supported by NYLCV this year addressed clean cars (A.4302), a low carbon fuel standard (A.862A), EV charging tariffs (A.3876), zero-emission transit buses (A.3090), extended producer responsibility for paper and packaging producers (A.5801), single-use hotel toiletries (A.5082), and the ban of certain chemical flame retardants (A.5418A). Assemblywoman Pheffer Amato is a co-sponsor and supporter of all bills.

These bills will drive us forward toward a greener and more planet-friendly future, and I am happy to support them as a legislator.”
