“It is deeply disturbing that ICE is looking for new parking in Lower Manhattan after their current contract to park at Pier 40 in Hudson River Park expires on June 30th.

We deserve to know when our neighborhood is being used for ICE’s deportation agenda. That’s why I introduced the ICE Contract Transparency Act, requiring businesses to disclose their contracts with ICE to the state.

This is about drawing a clear line: New York will not stand by while ICE’s machinery of mass deportation terrorizes our communities. If companies choose to do business with ICE, they should expect to do it in full view of the public.”
